Thanks a lot Wal-Mart!

On Saturday evening we told the kids they needed to get in bed because if they didn't go to sleep the Easter Bunny wouldn't be able to come and hide eggs for them. Cade looked at us and said, "There is no Easter Bunny." Shocked by this response we asked what he meant. He said, "You guys put the eggs out. I saw it on the commercial where the dad hides the egg in the tree." Yeah, that was a lovely Wal-Mart commercial! Thanks so much for ruining the Easter Bunny for my four year old.

10, 9, 8, 7, 6...

Everyday we get a count down to Christmas courtesy of Cade. On Wednesday, the 16th, with only nine days left to go, Cade informed me that Kylie was jumping on their bed. He knows that they are not supposed to do that and if you don't behave then there may not be any presents for you under the tree on Christmas morning. I told Cade not to worry about what Kylie was doing and to just make sure that he does what he is suppose to. He then said, "I'm not going to to do anything wrong on my bed for nine days!" I think he only lasted two more days before that was over.

Three Months

So a little more than three months ago, Jack joined our family. While I thought at two months he was starting to sleep better, for the last month or so he has proved that to be untrue. Right now I feel like he is a newborn again. He wakes up every two to three hours to eat. Besides all that he loves to be talked to and played with. He is happiest when his legs are uncovered and he has an adorable smile, if only we could catch it on film.

Two Months (0 years)

Jack is already two months old. Time flies when you want them to stay little. He has gained a few pounds and some inches. He has the cutest smile and it's so fun to hear him talk We are still working on our sleep schedule but he is starting to get the hang of it (I hope). We sure love this little guy!

Looking out for his little brother

Last night Cade said the prayer before dinner. He was mumbling a little bit so I had to ask Garrett after to confirm what I thought I heard. It went a little something like this "and please bless the food that it will help Jack to grow strong and healthy through mom feeding him." I love the way his mind works.

One month later

It's already been a month since this cute little
guy has joined our family. Well, technically not
until 11:11p.m. for those keeping track.
