Cade looked at us and said, "There is no Easter Bunny." Shocked by this response we asked what he meant. He said, "You guys put the eggs out. I saw it on the commercial where the dad hides the egg in the tree." Yeah, that was a lovely Wal-Mart commercial! Thanks so much for ruining the Easter Bunny for my four year old.Nataliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00620558607598172957noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8575087481873567335.post-84783834869105175982010-03-17T16:28:00.000-07:002010-03-17T16:32:30.006-07:00Happy St. Patty's Day<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFwsQRRX994f4QbDrUTrbeJclopdp84t6n7S0MEeG83isFf2h85Xd3XLoWYRCdcLirGNKE-t90aO-xdLykbZAzv8eTMiihF4wBp6vvVsMzJ2RZYOkTeKMTETpvmJsUex0WupCBWq6jHpU/s1600-h/DSCN2460.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFwsQRRX994f4QbDrUTrbeJclopdp84t6n7S0MEeG83isFf2h85Xd3XLoWYRCdcLirGNKE-t90aO-xdLykbZAzv8eTMiihF4wBp6vvVsMzJ2RZYOkTeKMTETpvmJsUex0WupCBWq6jHpU/s320/DSCN2460.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5449749670147806162" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwpiEc-fBp4BTpDU-qmSqhOGDRw4MIsZr8kSI0lXItbi-MDffK6yZfcD6nqZCqkeK8_om9DHzqmCwKxdz9keVdoncBMJfpeIBV3jTx_TSPsVCP12NB4Hbr6Kmp9QjvvnfI8tYsD6GMk_I/s1600-h/DSCN2463.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwpiEc-fBp4BTpDU-qmSqhOGDRw4MIsZr8kSI0lXItbi-MDffK6yZfcD6nqZCqkeK8_om9DHzqmCwKxdz9keVdoncBMJfpeIBV3jTx_TSPsVCP12NB4Hbr6Kmp9QjvvnfI8tYsD6GMk_I/s320/DSCN2463.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5449749488543468130" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidPQgN0Tn2cBsfoyZggJ2HX3Iqt26u9IuqHeDWjfjvcbObL_2WAe-rVGNoLsE-sNITq-zWNoqVd7UsNkEJel56dR9Y6bZn4rwFqvCst3kZF4BSkTGR2YWsdF4tBc6iPr9T1wK10TavsY4/s1600-h/DSCN2465.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidPQgN0Tn2cBsfoyZggJ2HX3Iqt26u9IuqHeDWjfjvcbObL_2WAe-rVGNoLsE-sNITq-zWNoqVd7UsNkEJel56dR9Y6bZn4rwFqvCst3kZF4BSkTGR2YWsdF4tBc6iPr9T1wK10TavsY4/s320/DSCN2465.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5449749299498045442" border="0" /></a>Nataliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00620558607598172957noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8575087481873567335.post-33448053992302575692009-12-19T22:30:00.000-08:002009-12-19T22:55:11.553-08:0010, 9, 8, 7, 6...Everyday we get a count down to Christmas courtesy of Cade. On Wednesday, the 16th, with only nine days left to go, Cade informed me that Kylie was jumping on their bed. He knows that they are not supposed to do that and if you don't behave then there may not be any presents for you under the tree on Christmas morning. I told Cade not to worry about what Kylie was doing and to just make sure that he does what he is suppose to. He then said, "I'm not going to to do anything wrong on my bed for nine days!" I think he only lasted two more days before that was over.Nataliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00620558607598172957noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8575087481873567335.post-60543047540898050372009-12-19T22:10:00.000-08:002009-12-19T22:30:14.950-08:00Three Months<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4Z0K-DrsXTm93DJ1LAR5MBbOhl71oryMEPNWfxYyoBHhX6eA_lB8moHqo83dmMGlppmECyzGQz0jHUPfa3aDlXvcDz9_q9xm9kAgfJpNRzIYCbjA2OQ24wbqd6sXasArQ7lUqSc4rorg/s1600-h/DSCN1688.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4Z0K-DrsXTm93DJ1LAR5MBbOhl71oryMEPNWfxYyoBHhX6eA_lB8moHqo83dmMGlppmECyzGQz0jHUPfa3aDlXvcDz9_q9xm9kAgfJpNRzIYCbjA2OQ24wbqd6sXasArQ7lUqSc4rorg/s320/DSCN1688.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5417198969793251458" border="0" /></a><br />So a little more than three months ago, Jack joined our family. While I thought at two months he was starting to sleep better, for the last month or so he has proved that to be untrue. Right now I feel like he is a newborn again. He wakes up every two to three hours to eat. Besides all that he loves to be talked to and played with. He is happiest when his legs are uncovered and he has an adorable smile, if only we could catch it on film.Nataliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00620558607598172957noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8575087481873567335.post-33788845959826611092009-11-09T19:14:00.000-08:002009-11-09T20:11:14.519-08:00Two Months (0 years)<div style="text-align: justify;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiO2aO4SGkKTvEG4B3xPGldg64KGvlycee0D7PxjzUvRaxe6CXs_2W58-1HPp-tP3eOD4C9CDNyYzEU01OEVwLli6PNghWOhAjPtCFqP2ugExME0RsMBfaXCaWuaw_8sJ19bggiEkeDPzM/s1600-h/DSCN1677.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiO2aO4SGkKTvEG4B3xPGldg64KGvlycee0D7PxjzUvRaxe6CXs_2W58-1HPp-tP3eOD4C9CDNyYzEU01OEVwLli6PNghWOhAjPtCFqP2ugExME0RsMBfaXCaWuaw_8sJ19bggiEkeDPzM/s320/DSCN1677.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5402308486647484018" border="0" /></a>Jack is already two months old. Time flies when you want them to stay little. He has gained a few pounds and some inches. He has the cutest smile and it's so fun to hear him talk We are still working on our sleep schedule but he is starting to get the hang of it (I hope). We sure love this little guy!<br /></div>Nataliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00620558607598172957noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8575087481873567335.post-12376033769976756582009-10-13T11:15:00.000-07:002009-10-13T11:34:40.981-07:00Looking out for his little brotherLast night Cade said the prayer before dinner. He was mumbling a little bit so I had to ask Garrett after to confirm what I thought I heard. It went a little something like this "and please bless the food that it will help Jack to grow strong and healthy through mom feeding him." I love the way his mind works.Nataliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00620558607598172957noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8575087481873567335.post-69427113969157417282009-10-06T21:26:00.000-07:002009-10-06T21:56:52.267-07:00One month later<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWenVrhHZpqMqMqN3920jCKoE8MWA9pQB1vj4kUyMVql_LuI_5ZTUFslK_WND9LtmZwCL-15T1KIaAaXct29ifzmfhrtzgWZ24BWtZJ6GLnq3SC2v-zp1frV9WtM6FHTFk1kmOHkDd1RU/s1600-h/DSCN1421.JPG"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWenVrhHZpqMqMqN3920jCKoE8MWA9pQB1vj4kUyMVql_LuI_5ZTUFslK_WND9LtmZwCL-15T1KIaAaXct29ifzmfhrtzgWZ24BWtZJ6GLnq3SC2v-zp1frV9WtM6FHTFk1kmOHkDd1RU/s320/DSCN1421.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5389716125902119026" border="0" /></a><br />It's already been a month since this cute little<br />guy has joined our family. I had just sat down to nurse Jack and suddenly I had a captive audience. Cade then proceeded to explain to Kylie that the right side is Jack's breakfast, lunch and dinner. The left side is Jack's treats. This was news to me so I was glad to find out. It's now very clear why Jack prefers to eat on the left side.Nataliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00620558607598172957noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8575087481873567335.post-24172041083262643952009-09-22T14:12:00.000-07:002009-09-22T14:17:06.758-07:00First, I have a few questionsWhen Cade came to the hospital to see Jack for the first time, he was asked if he wanted to hold him. Cade asked, "How cold is he?" I dont' know where that came from but he didn't want to hold him while he was there. Now that we are home he can't seem to get enough of him.Nataliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00620558607598172957noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8575087481873567335.post-13463699515651732722009-09-22T14:03:00.000-07:002009-09-22T14:09:09.976-07:00I love this kidYesterday I was burping Jack when Cade asked, "Mom, when you are done hitting him, can I hold him?"Nataliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00620558607598172957noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8575087481873567335.post-27740561910453598862009-09-15T19:55:00.000-07:002009-09-22T14:08:25.835-07:00It's all in how you look at itIn April 2009 <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Cade</span> was finishing up preschool for the semester. We went to his parent, teacher conference where Teacher Alisa was showing us his progress. She had asked him to draw some pictures of his family. At the time I was about 4 months pregnant with Jack. <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Cade</span> drew a picture of Jack and it was pretty much just a circle. When his teacher asked him to tell her about the picture, he said the circle was Jack's head. Alisa asked if Jack had anything else and <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Cade's</span> reply was, "I don't know. I've never seen him." She also asked him to tell her about the picture he drew of me. In the picture there was a spot on my leg. Alisa asked what it was that was on my leg and <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Cade</span> told her it was bruise. She said, "Does your mom have a bruise?" <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">Cade</span> said, "She does in the picture."Nataliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00620558607598172957noreply@blogger.com1
